About Coach

Matt is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director at EP. He played Division I men's soccer at the University of Kentucky and Northern Illinois University prior to completing his Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Iowa. Following his undergraduate coursework, Matt continued his education at the University of Iowa within the Carver College of Medicine where he graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

Turning Point

Matt enjoys working with patients of all ages and levels, but his primary interests are ACL reduction programs, rehabilitation, and return to sport. Matt's goal is to collaborate with his patients, their parents and coaches to help them return to high performance.

Motivation & Passion

Matt is the Director of Performance & Health for Sporting Iowa ECNL handling the club’s in-season speed/conditioning, injury maintenance, and off-season performance training. While not in the clinic he enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants with his wife, watching Disney Junior with his son, playing soccer, and following Iowa Hawkeye athletics.
